Saturday shift from 8-2 (we got out later today)

Today was another odd slow day- at least until the end! We had a no show but two sick calls today plus a fit in. 

Tuesday afternoon shift, 1-6

We only had two surgeries, China-liver biopsy, and a rabbit spay. Considered a slow day where I spent my time cleaning until our appointments began. I took it upon myself to clean our shelving unit downstairs where we keep our detergents/instrument cleaners/distilled water/general cleaning supplies. It’s good sometimes that we do have this lull because I can do cleaning projects like this. I’ll put our appointments under the cut. =]

Just got back from work with Miss Debbie. Dr.Lawrence thinks she has some sort of pollen allergy and that’s why she’s been licking/pulling her fur out on her tummy and back. =[ She was super sweet with the girls but once Dr.Lawrence came in she wouldn’t stop growling! Hahaha. She got her rabies, feline distemper and .5ml of Vetalog. Need to go back on the 30th to get a second injection and to check on her skin. I’ll try to snap a picture of her skin once she stops hiding from me.

I had the hiccups today and they went away right before I had to deal with a euthanasia, thank god. Can you imagine how awful that would have been?

Miss Debbie is going to work on Friday to get her tummy checked out. She’s been red and irritated and pulling out her fur. =[ Finally told my mom I’m putting it on my Discover card so she can get seen.
